Horseback Riding
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo is intended for the novice riders and is no more than a two hour journey. A tour has you riding down the peaceful Mopan River and then through a jungle filled with various flora and fauna and a variety of birds. Along the way, stop at one of the many unexcavated Mayan ruins scattered throughout the valley.
Calla Creek
This 3 to 4 hour ride takes you to the agricultural village of Calla Creek. The open countryside offers many beautiful views of the river valley. You will also cross the Mopan River on horseback. Optional stops along the way include refreshments at Clarissa Falls resort and a view of a bamboo furniture workshop.
