Leading up to Christmas, get into the magical spirit of the Holidays with family movie nights featuring your favorite cinema snacks. Enjoy specialty crafted drinks during the Christmas cocktail hour hosted by our General Manager, with live music and a visit from Santa Claus himself. Cherish these memories for years to come with the keepsake photos you’ll receive from Santa’s photo-booth.
On December 25th Christmas cookie decorating during the day makes a delightful and delicious activity for guests of all ages. For dinner, Ka’ana’s chefs will present a magical experience with a four-course menu of fine-dining to impress and satiate. The entrée options include a choice of glazed turkey breast wrapped in bacon, plantain-wrapped snapper fillet, or a vegetarian option of cauliflower, okra, and chickpea coconut curry with fragrant garlic and ginger fried rice. Following dinner, delectable desserts are served with a choice between traditional Christmas cake with cranberry icecream and caramel custard, or Belizan-coffee Crème Brûlée. The merry-making doesn’t end after dining! Karaoke is to follow at the Wallace Bar.
The night after Christmas, cozy up fireside with a s’mores bar and decadent Mayan hot chocolate. Enjoy the star-lit sky as the flames flicker and warm your toasted treats. The following day, indulge in a truly Belizean Christmas tradition with a Holiday mixology class. The Belizean version of Eggnog, “Rumpopo”, is sweet, spiced, and spirited with the best local rums - a recipe you’ll treasure for years to come!
The evenings leading up to New Years, let the excitement build with movie nights, including a night dedicated for a family Christmas movie. Indulge in a wine and cheese tasting experience with the finest selections from our wine cellar, the largest collection in Western Belize! On New Year’s Eve, join the General Manager for a classy cocktail hour with live music and a special dinner menu. Bring the year to a close with a four-course dinner that is sure to surpass all expectations. A vibrant Amuse Bouche is followed by a soup of coconut, lime, lobster and lemongrass oil to teases the taste-buds. A salad of watermelon, goat cheese and bacon is topped with toasted seeds and cucumber dressing to set the stage for the enticing entrée to come. Pork Tenderloin with plum sauce, Baked Red Snapper with champagne butter sauce, or Spiced Vegetable Tagine make it a pleasant challenge to choose your entrée. Unique cheesecakes and chocolate tortes bring the dinner to an end on a sweet, sumptuous note.
