Yaxha Overnight - Luxury Camping

A 60-minute drive across Guatemala's border takes Guests to Yaxha National Park, where you will join an expert archaeologist and guide as you enter the city at dusk when everyone else has left.
 
Hike through the jungle to your luxury tent set at the base of a Maya Temple and greet your personal houseman who will lead you to the city’s courtyard for an authentic meal prepared by a Maya cook from the neighboring village. Be immersed in culture as you dine under the stars, surrounded by majestic temples.
 
After dinner, join your guide for the ascent to the highest temple where you will enjoy 360-degree views of the valleys, mountains, and lake. Sunset drinks are then enjoyed at the end of the tour on top of the main temple with views over the surrounding rainforest and nearby lake Yaxha. Guests then trek back through the jungle with torches as it starts to turn dark. Return to your tent, and enjoy the luxuries and comfort of a room at Ka’ana in an incredibly special setting. In the morning, enjoy a freshly made Maya breakfast before crossing the lake to visit yet another, not-yet-excavated Maya site before returning to Ka’ana.
