The restaurant takes its name from the national tree of Guatemala ” La Ceiba”. The Maya believed that the Ceiba tree transported them from earth to heaven which is what our cuisine is intended to do - transport you to a heavenly place.....

Fresh ingredients from the resort’s organic garden and an extensive wine selection from the private cellar accentuate the distinct flavours and pair well with every dish.
Menu selections change seasonally, assuring that only the freshest ingredients are utilized. Indulgent appetizers, soups, salads and pasta dishes are made fresh daily with organic vegetables and herbs from the garden. A selection of free range local beef and fresh Caribbean seafood are also available. La Ceiba is well known for its decadent sweets.
