"Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope": Ka'ana's Charity Gala Dinner
Every March, Women's History Month provides a platform designated to recognize and celebrate women across the globe. At Ka'ana, we understand that women are the backbone of our community, they represent courage and hope, and they shape our society. We are pleased to note that at Ka'ana, empowering women and honoring the achievements of women are deep-rooted goals embedded in our resort's commitment to community engagement. We believe that it is vital to amplify women's voices and offer equal opportunities to women across all spheres of society.
Over the past years, our resort has celebrated Women's History Month with a variety of events and resources that give back to our community. This year, Ka'ana Resort is delighted to mark the special occasion by hosting a special Charity Gala Dinner to be held on March 26th, 2022 at 6:30 pm. Keeping in mind this years' theme for Women's Month, "Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope", we have the greatest pleasure to announce that all proceeds from our Gala Dinner will go towards procuring mammogram imaging services from Belize Medical Associates and donate those mammograms to the Belize Cancer Society. A portion of the proceeds will also go towards life-saving cancer treatment for Martha Lucero, the mother of our Reservations Manager, as she relentlessly continues her battle with cancer.
The Charity Gala Dinner seeks to celebrate the spirit of women, and offer remarkable moments in our blissful rainforest surroundings. Join us in experiencing a decadent evening of fine-dining prepared by our expert culinary team at our signature restaurant, La Ceiba.
