- What is the weather like in Belize? The Belize climate is subtropical, with a cooling breeze from the Caribbean Sea. Belize has an annual average temperature of 79 degrees Fahrenheit (26 C). Summer high temperatures seldom exceed 94 degrees Fahrenheit (34 C), and winter lows are rarely below 60 degrees Fahrenheit (16 C) - even at night. The rainy season is between June and August and is the most beautiful time of year, where the rainforests truly come to life and where the short burst of mid-afternoon rain serves to cool. - What is the cancellation policy? No refunds will be available for no-shows, late arrival, or early departure. Should the guest decide to cancel, a minimum of 60 days notice is required prior to arrival for a full refund, minus a US$100 administrative fee. 50% refunds will be granted for cancellations 45-59 days prior to arrival. All cancellations 44 days or less prior to arrival are non-refundable. Kindly allow for up to 30 days for refunds to be processed.

When traveling to the Cayo District in Western Belize, outside exploration is a highlight of the guest experience. So here are a few packing suggestions for your visit. It will allow you to be well prepared to walk through the rainforest, Belize Maya Ruins, or tube down the river surrounded by nature and the water speed is not very high. Don't forget to bring:

- Comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers
- Sport sandals for water-based adventures
