Counting Blessings: The Perfect End to an Eventful Year
A year of uncertainty is coming to a close, and here at Ka'ana we are reflecting on the many things we are thankful for! It was quite an eventful year with the temporary closure of our resort after the closure of Belize's international airport. In the eight months our doors were closed, the resort underwent a major renovation including the upgrade of our suites, villas, kitchen, and grounds. New tiles, new fixtures, new plunge pools, new equipment, and even the addition of private gardens and outdoor bathtubs to our Casita Suites. Our team has given their all to make the best of our interim closure and prepare for our reopening. Now that we have fully reopened, we are so grateful to reflect on the many blessings 2020 has brought.

We are so thankful for our team who are so much more than staff, but family! Throughout this year of ever-changing regulations and guidelines, our team has come together to not only continue to work, but to do so with excellence and positivity!
Nature
Being able to cultivate and create is a true gift! We are so thankful to be able to be in nature while working on our organic garden and expanding its bounty and beauty. In a year that has seen much uncertainty and stress, to be able to add to the beauty and sustainability of our property is a blessing! Nature has proven tried-and-true to be the perfect remedy and therapy in stressful times.
Health
Health and wellness is a priority now more than ever. We are grateful for wellbeing enjoyed with socially-distanced times of togetherness. We are thankful for each moment that reminds us that we are not alone, but instead, we are in this together (six feet apart that is)! Even with incredibly high standards of cleanliness pre-pandemic, we have truly raised the bar to new heights in 2020. With our great accomplishment in earning Gold Standard Certification, we have found true joy in creating not only a beautiful environment but a safe space for guests to relax and unwind. At Ka'ana, guests will find advanced health and safety protocols and beautiful sanitization stations across our property.
