Getting Here

Ka'ana is thrilled to once again be open. With a successful reopening on December 14th, we are delighted to welcome back guests to our boutique resort. Though traveling these days can seem daunting, we are happy to say that a journey to Ka'ana Resort is not only easy, but quick! Most direct international flights to Belize have resumed, and more will resume normal schedules in January of 2021. Nonstop flights from major hubs of the United States with American Airlines, Delta, and United make traveling to Belize even more convenient and that much closer to your final stop: Ka'ana Resort.

Tucked away off the Western Highway in San Ignacio, Belize, is the bespoke luxury of Ka'ana Resort. Surrounded by tropical jungle, we have created an oasis that marries nature and modern luxury in our boutique resort. Our close proximity to an ancient Mayan City has been an inspiration for our resort, and even our name. The name Ka'ana, meaning "Heavenly Place", could not be more fitting! Our cuisine, interactive classes, and adventures guarantee a vacation of a lifetime. With extensive safety protocols and many direct flights to Belize only a few hours long, experiencing this Heavenly Place is now safely within reach!

Flying to Belize

Guests arriving on international flights will arrive at the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport in Belize City. The Belize Tourism Board and the Government of Belize has given an easy 3 step process to arriving safely.  Once getting through customs and immigration, it's time to get on to your destination! But before travels can continue, our drivers and pilots will ensure temperatures have been checked, hands have been sanitized and masks are properly worn before entering the preferred mode of transport, as per Government of Belize mandate.

Arrive By Land

A personal driver will be waiting to whisk guests away for private road transfer from the airport to Ka'ana. The journey is less than two hours. Traveling by land gives guests a unique chance to take in day-to-day life while driving through villages, untouched jungles and looming mountain scenes.

Arrive By Flight

A time-saving option is air travel from Belize City to San Ignacio. Direct flights can be booked through Tropic Air. A 12-seater airplane will take you to new horizons, offering views of lush jungles, twisting rivers, and towering mountains. One is sure to feel small and somehow connected to nature while taking in all the stunning vistas on this short, sweet flight of just half an hour.

Arrive by Helicopter

This option is undoubtedly the most extravagant and adventurous! Up to four guests can be transferred directly from Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport by helicopter, straight to Ka'ana's private helipad. This is more than a ride to a destination; this is an experience of a lifetime! Get a bird's eye view of Belize's protected jungles and an overview of the Mayan Mountains and Thousand Foot Falls. Right before arrival to Ka'ana, your pilot will treat you to a spectacular aerial tour of the ancient Maya city, Xunantunich, just 1.5 miles from our resort.
