As of October 1st, Belize will be back on the map for international travel with the Philip Goldson International Airport reopening for leisure travel. Health and safety measures are in place for those who are looking to travel to our jewel. We are also proud to mention that we are currently working on qualifying to become a Gold Standard Resort, which means that we will be approved for reopening by the Belize Tourism Board. This certification means that we will be implementing health and safety guidelines required to operate safely and therefore, create the best experience for our guests.
Ka'ana takes the time to create next-level experiences
In the meantime, we've been working on some news that we just couldn't wait to share! We have a Ka'ana makeover coming your way. The Balam building has some new touches, our villas are being completely renewed and, just when you thought they couldn't get any better, we're upgrading our Casita and Master Suites!
Our Balam building, perfectly placed by the main pool of the resort and hosting 5 rooms as well as our Spa has seen some improvements during this period of refurbishment. We have installed a brand-new roof with insulation and modern electric wiring. Inside, you'll find that the room's interior has been fitted with a new ceiling and LED lights. Furthermore, we have moved the air conditioning condensers to an invisible and soundproof location, all for your comfort!
When you book our villa, you'll feel what it's like to truly be secluded and become one with nature. You'll be able to tan in the beds next to your private plunge pool, relax in your garden deck, and even enjoy a good read from the lounge in the Master bedroom.
But don't take it from us, our recent honeymooners, The Lennans, said, "The courtyard area of our Villa was like our own private resort, which made us want to never leave!"
Now, let's talk about the Casita and Master Suites.
Before, the Casita Suite had a quaint, cozy vibe with a front porch showcasing a hammock and a small back porch with two lounge chairs. Now, the major showstoppers of our Casita Suite will be the additions of a private garden, outdoor bathtub, and even an upper terrace where you'll be able to bask in the tranquility of the nature that surrounds you.
Previously, our Master Suite included a front porch with a hammock, and a private outdoor area behind the suite with a deck, day bed, and outdoor shower. Coming soon, the Master Suite will boast a private garden, indoor bathtub, and outdoor plunge pool as well as the stunning upper terrace. Talk about pampering yourself!
When you book our Casita or Master Suites you too will be able to enjoy our newest addition, the gorgeous rooftop terrace where you can unplug and savor your morning coffee or sip on an evening cocktail. The terrace has more possibilities than we can begin to imagine from bird-watching to a private massage, relaxation, and private sundowner. The only thing missing is YOU.
