When you're in Belize there are a few things bound to thrill adventurous hearts from our youngest to our oldest guests. The awe-inspiring Mayan temple of Xunantunich. Cave tubing through the jungle. Ziplining over the treetops.

And of course, you can't forget a journey through the gardens of Ka'ana to enjoy our very own on-site farm!

"Our kids were delighted to stay here. Gaby enjoyed picking up eggs for his morning breakfast. Cesar thank you for taking the time to show Gaby the sheep on the farm. Gaby is still commenting about them." - Ka'ana Guest Ted T. on TripAdvisor.

Our master gardeners are always thrilled to show off their work to guests of all ages.

From saying hello to the chickens that lay the eggs for your breakfast to learning how those eggshells are turned into new homes for baby plants, this agricultural tour starts with a bang!

And what would a Ka'ana tour be if you didn't get a little dirty? Our gardeners will show you the latest fruits, vegetables, and herbs they've planet. If you're lucky you may even get to help Cesar and the team harvest the cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage or cilantro for dinner that night.

"On the first day we had a tour of the extensive garden and it was so nice to see those foods coming through in our daily meals." - Andrea on TripAdvisor

You'll see our nursery where we nurture the trees that will shade the resort in the future. From coconut and palm trees that will decorate our walkways to sweet mango trees and different types of avocado varieties, you can see where these young plants come alive.

You won't want to leave before giving our sheep a good pet! Maybe you'll even get to watch them at the salon on grooming day.

"If you have time, I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the garden. Ka'ana grows food for their restaurant onsite, from tomatoes to arugula. They also have a chicken coop for eggs. You must ask to visit the three sheep who also live on the property! They are very cute and friendly!" - Christine on TripAdvisor

The best part is that every single process, from seeding to planting to harvesting, is 100% organic. We stand by our reputation as an eco-friendly resort and we can't wait to show you how we're constantly working to live in even greater harmony with our environment.

The secret gardening techniques we use to make things grow are truly something special. We even invite you to make your mark by contributing to our garden with a plant of your own.
