Saying I Do to a Wedding in Belize

You've found the love of your life, and now the two of you are planning the next step: the magical moment when you declare your commitment to each other in front of close friends and family. At Ka'ana, we have a decade of experience turning dream weddings into reality. With a destination wedding here, you transform an event that usually lasts a few hours into a multi-day celebration of love.

Set in the jungles of Western Belize, our resort offers endless options to couples looking for a special place to tie the knot. Talk to our wedding coordinators Mark and Anna, and they can help you coordinate the perfect occasion, from the pool deck to under Ka'ana's big "Tree of Life." Want a lush garden ceremony? We can do that, in our 17 acres of verdant grounds. Prefer a historic church? Charming San Ignacio is only a five-minute drive away. Or, for something truly memorable, how about thousand-year-old ruins, officiated by a shaman? Belize is the only country that permits wedding ceremonies on its Maya ruins, and nearby Xunantunich is a stunning complex of pyramids and temple buildings. The historic compound once housed former ceremonial hub of Maya culture, and today makes for an evocative place to hold your own wedding.

Of course, the ceremony is only part of the event. Our team can also help you realize the ultimate reception as well. Your first dance could be underneath a fragrant mango tree, sashaying around the outdoor dance floor to your shared song. Our six-member culinary team will craft the perfect meal, fine-tuned to your tastes. You and your loved ones can enjoy a night to remember, dining al fresco or in La Ceiba restaurant, inspired by the farmhouses surrounding Ka'ana. Many of the ingredients hail directly from our on-site organic gardens, and wines are selected from our 1000-bottle cellar.

Throughout the planning process, Mark and Anna will guide you every step of the way. With their large network of Belizean contacts, they can advise on the right flowers, music, licensing (even assist with the legal paperwork), and whatever else you may desire, ensuring your big day goes off without a hitch.

And after the big day, you and your loved one are already well on your way to enjoying a Central American honeymoon. Start married life right with a romantic stay in our private pool villa, spending days kayaking rushing rivers, bird-watching, hiking in the world's only jaguar preserve, horseback riding, or simply lounging. It's all here at Ka'ana.

We so look forward to being a part of your memorable occasion!
